Now you’ve read this issue of English Now, why not try this quiz to test your knowledge about reading and writing skills!

When we read or listen we do so in many different ways for many different purposes. In the classroom, the activities we ask our students to do also mirror these ways of reading and listening.


The quiz

Match the activity instructions 1-10 with the ways of reading and listening A-J (1)
