VTTN national conference in Hanoi. Mario works at Pilgrims, Canterbury,

Conference participants were
shown and took part in a range of activities for use when teaching with
texts. The activities were presented within a 'Multiple Intelligence'*
framework, showing how human beings learn in different ways - some learners
think mostly visually, some think logically while others think linguistically.
For teaching to be successful for all these learners, it is necessary
to recognise these differences and use activities accordingly in the classroom.
Some of the conference activities are reproduced in the following pages.
We hope you find them interesting and useful.
